Alternative aluminum exterior window sills

Sorry for my imprecise request.

So, we have not decided on anything yet and were told the following:

for window sills that are not made of aluminum - so regardless of whether granite or stone or or or .... - the above-mentioned risk always exists. Namely, that cracks form in the masonry and water or moisture penetrates.
Therefore the question, is that really the case?

Monolithic construction - this little detail should definitely be mentioned. I thought they had all disappeared with the Energy Saving Ordinance.....

Unfortunately, I only know of one construction project in this regard – with aluminum window sills. However, I would be very interested to know where else this type of construction is still being done and what the results look like.
