Hello everyone!
I am currently considering getting the Squaro Corner Bathtub from Villeroy & Boch for our new build, specifically the Airpool Comfort. According to the representative, Villeroy & Boch whirlpools do not have air preheaters, which is quite off-putting for me now. The representative did say that the air is "only briefly cold at the beginning, after that you don't notice it anymore," but I don't believe him (or rather, I don't quite understand why the air should only be cold at the beginning...).
We had two air bubble mats to retrofit at home during our childhood. One had air preheating, one didn’t. And what can I say, it was 1000 to one. Without air preheating, the bathwater cooled down incredibly fast.
Now my question: Does anyone here have a Villeroy & Boch Airpool and can share their experience with how it really works at Villeroy & Boch? Does the water really cool down as quickly as I fear? Is it possible to retrofit such a device?
Many thanks and best regards Birgit
