Hello everyone,
we want to install a substructure for a drywall suspension under a wooden beam ceiling. The setup of the substructure should be relatively classic. That means first the base battens and then the counter battens. To align the counter battens, we would like to use adjustment screws. The wood for the substructure is 4x6 cm. Are there even suitable adjustment screws for 4x6 wood? From the data sheets, I sadly always only read that the thickness of the lower wood should usually be 2.5 cm, and if it is thicker, the screw is too long for the total height of 8 cm of the substructure.
Thank you very much for your answers. I just can’t make sense of this right now.
Best regards
