Thank you for the hint, but unfortunately it is not possible otherwise in terms of planning. This corner is the only one left; the rest is occupied by the utility room and living room. With a floor area of 8.50m x 10m, there is not much space and compromises have to be made, but that's okay for us.

No, actually a complete structural analysis calculation for a single-family house by a structural engineer costs about 1.2-1.8k.

Okay, so that means we pay for a completely new calculation because of one wall. Of course, I can't say whether that is necessary.

There are probably regional differences. Definitely. I had an offer of 3500 EUR just to check a finished static calculation.
