Acquiring building land from the neighbor – what costs are involved?

my wife and I are planning, in the course of the extension to my parents' house, to acquire an approximately 3x20 meter strip of a neighbor's property.

Can you roughly tell us what costs we should expect, apart from the purchase price?

Notary fees, real estate transfer tax, costs for registration in the land register, costs for surveying after completed extension......

It needs to be re-measured and notarized - I believe with our land division it was around ~2k€. But I guess it also depends on the value.

Notary fees are incurred firstly for the purchase contract and, if financed, also for the registration of the mortgage.

I would impose the land survey on the buyer. Without clear boundaries, the sale or purchase cannot take place.

The survey of the completed extension is then again the owner's responsibility.
