Hello!
So, first of all, I have no idea about house construction, renovations, remodeling, etc., but I would like to get some information about a wish/plan that suddenly came to my mind. There is a tiny house a few streets away, really not big (width 5m; length 10m - estimated). Unfortunately, it is old, run-down, uninhabited, and possibly currently used as a 'storage house'. But it would be great to rebuild or rather renovate it?!
Apart from the interior design, probably a lot would have to be done, starting with the water supply for the bathroom and kitchen, heating, and electricity, although I think electricity is included. Maybe something would also have to be done to the floors, walls, and ceilings of the rooms, and perhaps some partition walls installed and maybe one or two windows added.
Can you tell me if it would be worth it? And what do you estimate the cost to be, roughly?

If it has actually deteriorated that much and basically everything needs to be done, it can very quickly become six-figure.

What should the small house cost? If it has the top location in the village center and a beautiful plot, then it can certainly be worthwhile - if it also suits you (it seems to be quite small). If, however, it is located on the outskirts of the village, is too small for you, and also costs more money than the value of the property, it might be better to look for something else. Depending on your expectations and craftsmanship skills, such a renovation (depending on the purchase price) can easily reach the price range of a new build.

The way it looks in the picture, you are basically only buying the undamped foundation walls. Maybe building new is even cheaper.

What do you want to do with it? Single apartment? The size is not really suitable for more.

What you would probably have to do: dismantle down to the foundation walls, new roof, possibly new roof truss, and then you still need an architect and a structural engineer regarding your new windows, etc.

How about the structural stability in general? I once found an offer online for an old house, where it seriously stated that a floor slab would have to be installed afterwards. I have no idea how to do something like that, but that's what it said.

I'm pretty sure that demolition and new construction would be cheaper. Even if you can argue about the house size, but 5x10 is no longer up to date. I would advise against it.

Interestingly, people usually "fall for" dilapidated old buildings who have little or no knowledge of old building renovation, construction, etc. Probably for exactly that reason. Such a "comprehensive renovation," if it is serious and aims to create living space according to current standards, is not cheaper than building new of comparable size, often significantly more expensive. And in the end, you always only have a reinforced old building structure, which, however, cannot be compared in quality to a new building – despite comparable costs. Calculate roughly €1,250 to €1,500/m2 GFA (Gross Floor Area) for the pure construction costs (cost group 300+400) plus incidental construction costs (architect fees, structural engineer, official fees, financing costs, etc.) of 18-23% on the calculated total.

For such a house, it is actually not worth it. Nothing useful will remain except a few m2 of raw masonry, which very likely is not even sufficiently/frost-free founded. The already mentioned base slab certainly does not exist, nor do structural waterproofing, etc. maybe even the sewer connection is missing ...

Don’t be tempted into a spontaneous purchase by a cheap "bargain offer" without having calculated the financial consequences with a knowledgeable planner. Only a nice, associated plot would be interesting if you can/want to build new and you can purchase the plot at the official land value minus the estimated demolition costs of €6,000 to €9,000. But even here, no purchase without an expert who explains to you beforehand the building and planning law situation of the plot and outlines realistic building possibilities.
