Our switch setup:
1) Photocell on the west exterior wall.
2) Two-core control cable from this to a twilight relay in the General Electric fuse box, their circuit breaker.
3) The device's sensitivity can be adjusted by a rotary knob, whether it should switch on already in bright light or almost never or somewhere in between.
4) From it three wires to 5 LEDs at 1.3 watts each in the roof overhang on the main entrance side. It switches them on and off, on at sunset, off at sunrise.
5) They burn all night; 5*1.3 uses virtually no power. Karsten
