What are your experiences with the fixed water connection? Is there anything to consider with the side-by-side refrigerator?I will send a picture later. The wall is completely closed; but without tiles, as we are not using tiles around the sink. I now fear the next outcry. We are painting the area twice with latex paint (after a normal base coat). To explain again: We have installed an inlet and outlet in the closed wall. From the inlet, I now need to get two pipes to two faucets. So far, I have not seen any problems here. We have already solved it like this in the kitchen because we have a side-by-side refrigerator with a fixed water connection there. I am still looking for a solution for the outlet. I was looking exactly for something like what described. I didn't find anything like that at our hardware store. So I probably have to go to the big markets. I can already see that coming to us as well. Background on the timeline: The bathroom upstairs is not quite finished yet (new build) and the washbasin has not yet been held up to the wall, etc. I just wanted to take care of the upcoming piping early, as I want to use the bathroom as soon as the washbasin is installed. The bathroom has been a construction site since we moved in (06/01/20) because the plumber forgot to install a part in the concealed shower. Yesterday, the first demolition work already took place in the new build.

Hello. The refrigerator is great. It is actually one of the items that provides a significant added value in the new house compared to before. I use the ice cubes and also the chilled tap water a lot. Therefore, in my opinion, only a refrigerator with a fixed connection is an option. You don’t have to pay much attention to that. I installed a T-piece on the wall connection. This way I could supply the faucet, the dishwasher, and the refrigerator. Also, make sure you have a place for the water filter. It is located between the wall connection and the refrigerator. So in the supply line and actually needs to be replaced every 6 months.
