1 1/2 storey with hipped roof

Hello everyone,

I am planning the construction of a small city villa in a 1 1/2-story building area in Lower Saxony. On the south side, floor-to-ceiling windows/doors (French balcony) are also planned on the upper floor. Who can tell me if the construction of a shallow hipped roof is possible with the required 1 1/2-story development and in connection with French balconies on the upper floor?!

Hi, I think it must be less than 75% of the living area of the full floor, then it is a 1/2. Just ask if a nice large open space above the dining area is already enough for that. cu N

I am planning to build a small town villa in a one-and-a-half-story development area in Lower Saxony.

If only single-story buildings are allowed, based on all experience you are not allowed to build a two-story town villa; this - by the way - has nothing to do with BRF or floor-to-ceiling window elements. A "calculated" two-story building is also not necessarily permitted; it depends on whether a Roman I or II is drawn in the development plan *and* whether a triangle is drawn around the Roman numerals or not.
