Good day. Some energy consultants have informed me that the [Warmwasserverordnung DIN 1988] is currently being revised. Many new systems are being planned and installed using the instantaneous water heater principle (e.g. [Frischwasserstation]) instead of - as before - with a hot water storage tank. With a hot water storage tank, it is necessary for hygienic (Legionella) measures to reach at least 60 degrees. But with modern instantaneous water heater models, this risk no longer exists (provided there are no dead legs). Currently, this is regulated by the [3 Liter Verordnung]. My question to experts: - Is it really known that this regulation is being revised (also for multi-family houses)? - Does the current 3-liter regulation concern the contents of the hot water pipe including the circulation pipe and branch pipe? Example: With a 15 mm pipe, that would mean about 22 m of piping. - What measures would currently be necessary to operate even a modern new building with a [Frischwasserstation] in a multi-family house at temperatures below 60 degrees? (With circulation). There are currently many different opinions from heating engineers, guilds, and manufacturers on this. Somehow no clear regulation. The example always refers to a multi-family house (5 units) with a [Frischwasserstation] and circulation. Thank you very much
