Hi,
in our new apartment (the developer is currently building), there is a wall opening between the hallway and the stairs.
That means if you stand in the hallway, you can see the stairs (to the upper floor). You see the stairs from the side.
The wall opening is about 2 m long and 1.5 m high.
Since we are not 100% satisfied with this open view, we are considering having a glass panel installed here.
I think clear glass is impractical because you can reach the glass from the stairs and we would have to clean it constantly.
So the idea is rather to work with frosted glass here.
Can someone tell me roughly what this should cost including installation? I just want a ballpark figure so I can assess the quotes from glaziers here in Munich. According to the internet, I would say this should be possible for around €1,500 as safety glass including installation.
