Hello everyone,
we have now decided on a semi-detached house from 1982. Some things have already been renovated here and the boiler was replaced 10 years ago.
What we would now like to do is to replace the windows in the house and the front door, as a lot of heat is lost through these old things.
Now there is this KFW program for renovation. Has anyone had any experience with it? We are planning €15,000 for the modernization and are now considering either including it directly in the financing or doing it through KFW. As far as I understand, you have to choose an energy consultant from the KFW list who accompanies the whole process. What are your experiences regarding the costs of this consultant? Is the loan through KFW still worthwhile then?
I would be very grateful for some suggestions and advice!
Regards, Tim
