Window manufacturer in renovation project

Hello dear forum comrades!

We have purchased a building from 1972 in need of renovation and plan to replace all the windows. We would like to have plastic windows installed. So far, we have no concrete offers – but contact with 2 companies that would of course like to install their windows. These are
a) Unilux
b) Veka

Furthermore, an acquaintance recommended Aron windows instead of Veka, which can be obtained through Hornbach, as the price/performance ratio is apparently very attractive.
Since I could not find any really useful tests or reviews, I am looking here for someone who has experience with the above-mentioned windows and would share it with us.

Hello Miralen,

to be completely honest, I would not save money in the wrong place.

1. no DIY store windows -> you will use the windows for 30 years and regret every day that you chose the cheapest ones
2. no plastic windows (I am eco-friendly) -> all future generations will still benefit from this (waste issue), not to mention energy consumption, oil consumption, and the toxic substances released during production.
3. Besides the price, many individual components matter when it comes to windows, so I would either get advice from a professional or read up a bit on window literature.
