Hello everyone,

we are currently working on the front view/ facade design and are considering which glass is sensible for the entrance area. I would like to have a lot of light in the entrance area, so there will probably be floor-to-ceiling windows to the right and left of the entrance door. Probably another floor-to-ceiling one as well. Now I would of course like to have as much light inside as possible, be able to look out from the inside, but from the outside, people should be able to see as little as possible inside.

What do you have? Frosted glass? Textured glass? Mirrored glass?

I'm curious about your experiences and possibly even photos?!
Thanks in advance!

We also have two floor-to-ceiling windows next to the front door and a light opening in the front door. We chose frosted glass for privacy. Of course, that is not an option if you want to look out from the inside.

We have Mastercaree in the front door and in the inner door something like a crashed one. That is great.

Hello, we also have floor-to-ceiling windows in the entrance area.

We decided to use standard glazing and then only apply film to the windows where it is important.
Frosted glass windows have the disadvantage that the amount of light entering is greatly reduced.

Best regards

We will take frosted glass, possibly with clear glass strips. The decision is not yet made. You can then of course only look out through the clear glass strips, but also look in (if you want). Mirrored glass has been installed by friends of ours. That only works as long as it is bright outside. As soon as it gets dark and the hallway light is on, you can no longer look out but everyone can look in. That’s not for us!
