Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the Hessen loan and hope someone can help me. We would like to use it for an existing property. Does anyone have experience with how the income limits for self-employed people (only my partner, I am employed) are calculated?

I hope someone can help me.

Best regards

There is no distinction between employees or self-employed. To my knowledge, there is an income limit per person or household.

The limits are, as already mentioned, the same... However, different documents are required:

Proof of income of all persons living in the household with their own income.
- for employees: pay slips of the last 6 months as well as the pay slip from December (of the previous year) with annual totals or a copy of the wage tax statement of the previous year, last income tax assessment, if applicable pension information (in case of retirement before the end of the fixed interest period (20 years).

- for self-employed persons: last three income tax assessments, income/expenditure statements (if applicable balance sheets and profit and loss accounts) of the last three years. For the current fiscal year, a BWA as well as a confirmation from the tax advisor must be submitted, showing the profit expected by the end of the year.

Then you have all the information. That's great. These are the official documents regarding the profit of the last three years or the current year.
