Hello everyone. Are there any forum members here who have built or will be building in Lauenbrück? We are currently in the final stages of planning and have already found out all the costs for water, gas, electricity, and telecommunications. Only the costs for sewage and rainwater cannot be determined like this. Could you perhaps share your experiences here and mention the costs? Thanks Andre

I am not from your construction area, but the costs for wastewater/stormwater are approximately (!) 2.5-3K€ for the inspection shafts on your own land and 4-5K€ for 3-5m connection length to the public sewer. A total of 10K€ for this position should not be too far off. Possibly plus construction cost surcharge for wastewater, unless otherwise regulated in the purchase contract. This can be several thousand more, which may be demanded after moving in, often only a year later.

Hello Alex,

Thank you for your feedback.
The purchase contract states that a partial amount of xx,xx€/sqm is included in the purchase price for the development and sewer construction contributions. This should mean that the building cost subsidy is no longer applicable, right?

I think so, but you can clarify that exactly with the seller and the responsible drainage company

Got a very quick response from the municipality: no additional construction cost subsidies apply. Now I just have to find out the approximate costs for the connections and the digging work.

I will certainly have to commission these works directly to a civil engineer, won’t I, or does the municipality also handle this and then bill me afterwards?
