Hello,
I want to regenerate a heavily weathered but intact roofing felt that partly shows crack-like deformations.
I had already ordered 2 buckets in advance because I read in the BSZ24 newsletter that it is no problem with the Bornit roof paint, but at that time I thought the roofing felt was in better condition.
Is the BORNIT roof paint still the best choice in this case despite the recommended two coats (a total of approx. 0.8 l/m²), or would a filler-containing or fiber-reinforced product be more suitable for such ‘older’ bitumen substrates with slight fatigue?
Product: BORNIT roof paint, bitumen topcoat – 5 liters, 10 liters, 25 liters, or 200-liter container.
