Hello everyone!

After receiving rough figures for an ETICS, the decision was clear: I will do the facing myself again to save costs. After longer research, I came across a stone that I have seen before but have not processed myself yet: lime sand design stone 4 DF with chamfer (thin-bed). I have already adjusted the plan to the eighth-meter measure to save a lot of grinding. I have built several houses with KS 2DF myself, but have never glued a facing brick, let alone a 4DF with chamfer. Compared to other facing bricks, the stone is relatively inexpensive (about €1100 per thousand plus VAT). Requirement per m²: 16 pieces. That results in a price per m² of about €21 including VAT. Shaped and special parts are not too expensive (in relation to the standard stone).

I have a few questions about this stone: Has anyone here processed this stone before? (seems very, very rare: according to the manufacturer only 5 reference houses in all of Northern Germany) How do I attach the ventilation grilles to the Z-foil here? Do I have to grind every second stone? Do I omit the ventilation or do I need other shaped stones? Which stones are used for the bullnoses (window sills)? The 2DF with chamfer as well?
