Hello everyone,

I have read that for a tent roof with a lower roof pitch than 22 degrees, a substructure is necessary due to snow load etc.

Does anyone have experience with what that means financially in terms of additional costs (house 10x11 meters)? The visually optimal roof pitch would be 15-18 degrees.

Best regards

Why is 15-18 degrees optimal?

We have reduced it to 25, the minimum according to BB, from below you can't see any difference anyway. The advantage is that you can still use the attic for storing boxes, etc.

And not only the snow load is a problem, many roof tiles only work with more than 22 degrees.
