Hello,
we need a half-turned staircase for our home B= approx. 2 m, 15 steps, ideas about the appearance are there, for example white stringers or chrome bolts and a white railing with steps in wood look (beech, or oak or ash for example).
But before I bother the staircase builder with a thousand requests and annoy him, the question arises, what is standard and costs little, what is more expensive?
Is, for example, a stringer staircase preferable in terms of price compared to a bolt system? Which wood is cheaper?
Actually, we wanted a pure white staircase, but after looking at a few that are several years old, it became clear to me that white steps are not a good idea even if they would look good with the white wooden beam ceiling/white interior doors and black/anthracite-colored tiles.
Regards
