Which staircase goes with these tiles?

Hello,
we recently selected tiles and soon the staircase will be next. We have chosen grey, polished porcelain stoneware tiles (see photo). Which color(s) is best to use for the staircase (stringer staircase, made of wood)?

Everything fits with that... like every wood "color" I would orient myself to your other furniture style.

The tiles look very delicate though....

I'll start differently:

Glossy tiles require more maintenance: you have to clean more, please don't forget that. You can see every tiny stain on them immediately.

The color is a matter of taste. Grey would be too dull and too much "in between" for me in the long run, but maybe it's also a matter of taste that I would go 1-2 shades darker or lighter, because then it's simpler and I (!) prefer simpler because it is more timeless – especially with tiles, which you can't just replace like laminate.

Stairs: I probably wouldn't choose beech, rather maple or white.

We have very similar tiles and oiled oak boards with white risers on the concrete stairs. Looks good.
