Which roof tiles, ABC modena11 or ABC tg10, glossy or matte?

Hi, options between two types of roof tiles:

1. ABC roof tile modena11

2. ABC roof tile tg 10


The building materials dealer said Modena 11 is better because it has an extra groove on the side, which prevents drifting snow and driving rain from getting under the roof tile.
What is your opinion on this?
I would choose a color matching the clinker bricks, but glossy, matte, or something in between? I feel glossy is better because moss or similar doesn’t form as quickly(?), but glossy and a large roof surface (bungalow)! What do you think about that?

subjective: I find the shiny roof tiles terrible in appearance and on some streets they dazzle drivers so much when the sun is shining on them.

Not glossy, but a matte/satin matte coating.

Visually, we also like satin finish. It is sometimes assumed that high gloss is better against moss, but so far I have not found a proper source for this statement (from builders). (There are no long-term tests for this). Do you know whether TG 10 or Modena 11? Visually, I find Modena 11 nicer/calmer due to the semi-flat shape. But in terms of functionality, I have no idea. With us, there are some houses with high-gloss roof tiles, right next to them you can see the matte, dirty roofs even though both are the same age. The glossy ones look like new (about 15 years old). We also chose glossy. For the first house (which is now 17 years old) we had matte ones and they are dirty now.
