Which paving stones are best for courtyard paving?

Hello

attached you will find a photo of two different paving stones. I could get them cheaply. They come from the railway (old loading street). What kind of pavement is this? Which of the two would you prefer.

I would take the dark ones ;o)

by the dark one you mean the stone that appears multiple times in the picture? Do you know what kind of stone that is? The single one should be granite but the others?

I would take both immediately. Old Patch is great. But better not to think about the weeds : )

The grey stones are sandstone paving.
