moin moin,

need a recommendation... I'm currently converting my attic and don't have enough pressure in the pipes to install a bathroom/WC upstairs. I spontaneously thought of a lifting station to circumvent the problem. Can someone recommend something? Or have good or bad experiences with certain products?

Hi,

I recently had a similar problem when I was renovating my basement.

After some searching, I came across Saniboy, who produce small lifting stations.

Just take a look at the site, maybe there’s something for you.

However, I wouldn’t do the installation myself but have a professional come for it.

well, the wastewater is not really the problem, because [Dachboden]! I thought! but the pipe seems to be too small, anyway I can't install the toilet. the main problem is still how do I get the water up?! are these [SANIBROY] systems good for both? I'm not much of a DIY expert.

Hello, you don't need a lifting station but a pressure boosting system. It's basically just a pump that is installed after the water meter. You might also need to install a small domestic water system. For that, an additional water tank would have to be set up. It's best to ask at a sanitary specialist store. Not at a hardware store!!!!!!

Hello Baumeister60,

I am not directly a plumbing expert, but it seems strange to me that the pressure in your water pipe is not sufficient to transport it with enough pressure up to the attic. As far as I know, there is 8-10 bar pressure there. Normally, the pressure in the city water supply should easily be enough for that, unless your attic is on the 35th floor.

In my opinion, there are probably other reasons here. How old are the water pipes in your house? Could it be that lime or other deposits have settled in the pipes and narrowed the cross-section?

In your place, I would consult a plumbing professional. They can certainly tell you what the problem is.

Best regards from the Osnabrück region

Hello everyone,

even though this happened a while ago. I also currently need a lifting station. A sewage lifting station is only necessary if I really connect the system to the toilet, right? That’s what it says on #link durch Moderation entfernt; Bauexperte

Or am I missing something? I am looking for a lifting station that can be connected to the washing machine.

I look forward to your answers.

Thank you.

Regards
