Hello,
our single-family house is currently being built. The rafter fields of the roof slopes and the ceiling surfaces on the upper floor are insulated with mineral wool mats. A plastic film is planned as a vapor barrier under the mineral wool mats. The cladding is done with drywall panels.
Now I have a question: The attic is unheated (cold roof) and is ventilated through the ridge. We want to use the attic as a storage room.
Which floor covering is best suited for the attic? What should one pay attention to?
Can the floor covering be laid directly on the collar beams?
Thank you very much
