Hello everyone,
we are currently renovating the attic in my parents' house. Now that we are at the point of covering the sloping ceilings with drywall, the question arises which one I should use. Sound insulation is important to me because the roof is exactly at street level. My idea was to place rock wool between the roof battens, to which the panels will then be screwed, and then put a soundproofing panel on top. Unfortunately, there are more soundproofing panels than I thought. My selection now includes Rigips "Die Blaue," Rigips "Die Harte," Knauf Diamant, and, what was offered to us today, Siniat LaSound, which I have never heard of. There are also significant price differences. LaSound is the cheapest, and Diamant would be the most expensive. Fermacell was also offered to me, but they are even more expensive than the drywall panels and are therefore basically ruled out. Has anyone had any experience with these panels?
