The answer:

Drawers do not fit at the very bottom, because as already mentioned, that is where the hinges belong. Sorry I did not make that completely clear.

It's best to first assemble the carcass with the hinges, then you will see with the following doors where you can build what. And I think there were also differences between right-opening and left-opening doors. Please measure beforehand to avoid having to redesign and screw the entire cabinet.
