Hello everyone,

since I couldn’t find a suitable forum via Google, I’m just going to try it here.

We are looking for a living room arrangement or couch with the following features:
- adjustable seat depth
- adjustable backrest
- modern design (lounge design?)
- modular or freely configurable

In the process, we came across the model "Alessio" from Dieter Knoll Collection. Unfortunately, the good piece in XXL was mirrored opposite to our needs. When we wanted the seller to configure the couch for us, he found out that the model is no longer orderable. There is also no information about it online.

-> does anyone know who manufactures the couch? (some models of this brand are produced by Koinor)
-> does anyone know an alternative?

Budget €3,000, expandable to €4,000+ if necessary

Best regards and thanks in advance!

Instead of Dieter Knoll, take a look at models from Ewald Schillig. There are similar models – qualitatively good and also not cheap.

Ewald Schillig is now ES Brand and sells its sofas together with Easysofa. I love its clean lines and would have recommended it as well. Vertical adjustment and simultaneous tilt of the backrests are naturally charged. I would think carefully about whether you really use that.

As a fellow countryman, I read the reviews because I like the look. The workmanship is described as very good, so everything you can see. But as a reviewer writes -> You should not jump on it or drop on it.

We have a sofa from W.Schillig, I can absolutely recommend it, very good quality, everything can be adjusted (backrest, seat depth, armrest). We always have the seat depth set to 70cm, we never change it.

Best regards

We also have one from Schillig with an adjustable backrest - we have it set to 100cm and do not change it.
