Hello everyone,

at the beginning of May, we will have our equity transferred from a building savings contract to the checking account.

We want to put the money into an account where it is quickly accessible.

What would you recommend? What is the advantage?

Is it common to leave the money in the checking account, or is the temptation to spend more money too great?

Thank you very much in advance.

So if you want to have it quickly at hand, there is actually only the option to put it into a [Tagesgeldkonto].

We have put our construction allowance into the savings account. I can't access it via online banking and have to go to the counter with the little book. So it's very safely kept away from me :)

I always put the money into the [Tagesgeld], so the commitment interest wasn't quite as high when you get 2.7% for the money. After 2-3 days, it is back in the checking account again.

Well, I can really only recommend a [Tagesgeldkonto] to you. The interest rates may be somewhat lower compared to other investment options, but you actually have the opportunity to withdraw your money every day.
