Hello,

We are building a new house and want to install a ventilation system. My question is where in the ceiling of the different rooms is it best to place the openings? Are there optimal points? Or just always towards the center of the house to keep the exhaust duct as short as possible.

Thanks for the tips.

How are you building? We are also building with [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung] and there was a special ventilation plan from PLuggit, the manufacturer. They specify exactly where the supply air and exhaust air openings are located, how big the transfer openings need to be, duct thickness, etc. etc. With us, all the supply air openings are in the floor under the windows, the exhaust air openings, for example, in the ceiling above the kitchen area, in the side wall of the bathroom, and in the hallway of the top floor.
