Hello everyone,

the floor slab company needs a small amount of water on-site at the construction site, so little that it is not worth ordering a watermaster. It concerns equipment cleaning as well as cleaning personal gear. One possibility would be to ask the neighbor if he can make his garden hose available, of course for a fee ;) Does anyone have an idea how else this could be arranged? A water barrel in January is probably not a good idea :) How can I best discuss this with the neighbor?

Many thanks
Best regards

Hello,

we borrowed a standpipe from the waterworks so that you could get water yourself. You only have to pay for the consumption.

Otherwise, the colleagues here also said that they only needed a bucket of water. I then put it there for them.

I don't understand the problem, every house gets a water connection, just branch off from there and that's it.

With the OP we are still quite a way from having a water connection laid or usable.

Just go over there ;)

...and say: "hi, I am your new neighbor. Hey, tell me, can the bricklayers get some water... the first barbecue evening is at our place" :)

The irony is appreciated. The idea with the standpipe is great, but a bit complicated. Thanks for your answers, I will either go to the neighbor or organize canisters with water.
