When will the Energy Saving Ordinance 2012 come into effect?

we had a conversation yesterday with a general contractor. I asked from when the new Energy Saving Ordinance 2012 applies. Then I received the surprising statement that the Energy Saving Ordinance 2009 is only valid until 31.12.2012. In the further conversation, the general contractor pointed out that the current Energy Saving Ordinance 70 standard applies as a basis. I then checked on the Energy Saving Ordinance website. There is nothing about that. Additionally, the general contractor confirmed that a preliminary draft is circulating among all construction contractors, and this must be followed from 1.12.2012. So what now :confused::confused: We intended to build only according to the Energy Saving Ordinance standard.

The so-called "new" Energy Saving Ordinance that everyone is talking about will, according to current status, only come in 2014; if at all. The problem: not only do our politicians have to agree, but the entire EU as well; that can take time.
