When to scrub plaster?

Hello everyone,

I plastered my first small wall with disc plaster. It really looks perfect, but there was also some luck / coincidence involved. I'm still not sure about the ideal timing for rubbing with the foam rubber board.

I partly had the problem that I rubbed some spots completely flat; even though I didn’t press hard.

Substrate: Primed lime cement plaster.

My question is therefore: After how many minutes (approximate indication) should one start rubbing and how long should one rub?

Apply mineral disc plaster evenly to grain thickness and move so that the grain rolls or tips, depending on the type.
