When does the repayment of the KFW loan start?

Somehow I didn't find this anywhere - not even at Kfw itself.

Today my bank advisor told me that repayment starts 12 months after the contract is signed... but that makes the first year without repayment seem quite pointless to me? I thought it would start from full drawdown or the first drawdown?

Program 153 - one year of interest-free period, 12 months repayment deferral.

Was the bank's statement correct?

Depending on the total term of the loan of 10/20/30 years, there are a maximum of 1/3/5 repayment-free years. However, this can be reduced at the customer's request. However, at least 1 year repayment-free from commitment.

So the statement can be correct if the contract has been designed accordingly.
