Good day. I will soon be moving into a new condominium from the developer. I have now read that the risk also passes to the owners at the handover. Therefore, it is probably important that all insurances are in place for the handover. Who takes care of these insurances? Which insurances do the new owners need? According to the developer, our residential unit will have a property management company. So should I only sign the handover of the common property when I also know that all necessary insurances are in place? Thank you! erika

Hello, Usually the property manager takes out the building liability insurance. He has the necessary powers of attorney for this. You only need to take care of household insurance.
