What needs to be done after the house transfer?

I hope I have posted this topic in the right section. I was gifted the house by my parents and am now registered as the owner in the land register.
Now I am wondering what else I have to take care of?

The residential building insurance is all settled.
Do I have to call the city and provide my data there for costs like garbage collection, etc.? I think so, but am I correct?
Chimney sweep: I have heard that I have to register with the chimney sweep and also provide my data there.

Unfortunately, I don’t have anyone around me who has had to deal with this topic, and for my parents, it’s been too long ago.

I would really be grateful for help and tips.

First, have all contracts/ direct debit authorizations/ transfers from the account shown to you that your parents had in connection with the house and then check all these places (either regarding termination, your parents should do it, or regarding transfer to you). Especially through the account, it should also become clear who has been supplying electricity/ gas/ water, GEZ, insurance, sewage charges, etc.
