What kinds of interior window sills do you have? Artificial stone or wood?

I wanted to ask what type of interior window sills you have chosen?

My wife doesn't like the artificial stone included in the offer.

We have now received a quote from the carpenter for oak window sills, 25mm thick, for 1700 plus tax.
11 pieces.

But that seems a bit too much to me.
Are there any nice alternatives?
