What kind of cover is this?

I am an impatient person and would like to know what kind of ugly cover this is in my shower area.

The electrician must have done this today, because it wasn't there before.

There is also nothing drawn at this spot in my electrical plan.

So please someone save me, otherwise I won't be able to sleep tonight :)
