Aluminum is not wrapped; that is not necessary (even with differing colors inside/outside). Inside/outside being the same fits in the sense that it means one less color in any case. Otherwise, the materials meeting each other turn into a cacophony concert. We could certainly do one foil inside, but for that the interior design, tiles, etc. would first have to be decided in order to commit accordingly.
Right next to the high-quality surroundings, I would refrain from a front door that "unfortunately only looked nice on the outside."Otherwise, we find the door okay. For me, high-quality bathroom tiles and great electrical work are definitely more important.
With windows, I could go along with that if necessary, but with front doors even in single-family homes, no. Doors are heavier and are closed with higher forces than windows. Plastic windows exist only because it is broadly socially acceptable to save in this area. And because they don’t look cheap for many years, but it is noticeable in the purchase price. From the perspective of keeping the house in question adequately valuable relative to its other parts, plastic for the front door would be outright anti-homestaging.Aluminum instead of plastic in a private house is completely exaggerated.
Seven thousand for the entire element with the side parts is roughly what I would have estimated too (and it can still be undershot). The door is already okay as it is, but I would make it wing-overlapping on both sides and the same color on both sides.Which doors would you find more appropriate? They also had some catalogs of "premium front doors" there, starting at about €7,000.
