What costs should one expect when building a house?

Hello dear forum community,

We have actually been planning for a long time to build ourselves a nice little house. But we don't really know what costs we have to expect. It is clear that the plot and the house itself have to be financed. But what exactly else comes up? What about the costs for the building permit etc.?
