Hello,
I am the new one and have a problem.
Three years ago I had my house completely renovated. Among other things, all 3 chimneys were newly built with clinker bricks from the floor of the attic.
One of them with visible clinker bricks.
With this one, water including soot pushes through the joints in some places. So the water comes from inside to outside. But this only happens when it rains for a long time and I don’t have a fire burning.
The trade that installed the chimneys does not feel responsible and rejects everything.
After 3 years, that shouldn’t happen, right?!
There is a concrete storm cap on it to hold back the largest amounts of water.
