Hello! Since the heating is currently being installed at my place, I am facing a choice. Either a buffer tank with integrated hot water storage or a buffer tank and a fresh water preparation system. What would you recommend? The details: The house is a new build. Heating is done with an air heat pump and a water-bearing tiled stove. Buffer tank has a capacity of 1000 liters, hot water storage should be 200 liters. I ask for your experience or opinion. Best regards

An extremely belated time to ask this fundamental question! => general guessing! Have fun with this construction overall! You seem to have a considerable budget to want to use such a solution with little energy efficiency in the long term!

best regards

Timely basic assessment, planning, and dimensioning by a sales-independent M&E planner! Apparently, you "saved" a few euros, now you have to live with the result in the long run. Whether this is economically effective for you overall, you will find out, for example, if heat meters are installed. Then total disillusionment usually follows! A pity for the initially high investment! With what objective!? ;-)

best regards

Hello €uro,

what are the costs based on for a correct planning by a TGA planner and what sums are we talking about for a normal single-family house?

Regards Lars

Hello,
First, the term "correct planning" must be defined.
Normally, the HOAI together with all associated contents and standards applies here.
For a single-family house, this is in my opinion far too expensive. Moreover, most TGA offices are structurally oriented towards "larger units" and generally have too little experience in the "small sector". There are huge differences between a hotel complex or commercial operation and a single-family house!
In the single-family house sector, it is completely sufficient to work through the most essential problem areas and to specify the technical parameters to be observed to the system installer, without completely restricting his scope for design.
That always depends on the specific individual case. This includes in particular the building geometry and the agreed scope of services.
I always submit a concrete offer, even if this is significantly more complex. So no flat-rate mass business at the lowest price.

Best regards
