Hello forum and thanks in advance for your tips!

My problem: I installed a new kitchen faucet (high-pressure faucet), but now the water doesn't flow. The background is that I originally only wanted to replace the defective shower hose, which did not fit through the hole of the tap. I called a plumber who opened everything and reassembled it, and after 2 hours the hose was installed on the tap, but suddenly several hoses were leaking. When leaving, his "tip" was: a completely new kitchen faucet where the shower hose fits better on the tap. What is strange is that in the end not only the shower hose was leaking, but also the connection hoses to the angle valves.

I did that, installed it, but now the water doesn't flow anymore. The main water valve is turned on. The angle valves cannot be turned left or right. But I assume that they did not break overnight. Before, water ran without any problems.

I suspect and hope that I might just need to turn something. Can you please help me? Does anyone have any advice? A thousand thanks in advance!

Hello

What a dreadful installation

The handwheels are made of plastic whose square often no longer moves an aging angle valve.

Hi Olli,

I already suspected that the angle valves are probably calcified and need to be replaced. But: That’s not the reason why the water suddenly doesn’t run anymore, is it!? It was still running the day before..

Hi

Are you really turning the spindle of the angle valve?
Or just the handwheel?

Morning. Just the handwheel. I can’t reach the spindle (as long as the handwheel is on..?).

Hi

different... does the spindle rotate as well?
if not, pull off the handwheel and turn the square with pliers
