Hello community,

I am looking for a built-in fitting that fits into a 6-7 cm thick wall. I really like the look of the Grohe Eurocube, but it doesn't fit, does it?

Many greetings,

In our building, the saleswoman did not have an installation box for wall thicknesses under 8 cm available during the sample selection – and the wall was certainly not small. So the facing wall was made just as thick. What speaks against putting an additional plasterboard in front of the tiles?

What is behind the wall? I see the risk that it will be loudly rushing. Unfavorable, in case it is a bedroom.

I recommend an additional [Vorwand].

I wanted to do that at first too, but then I looked into the OP's thread history – and, what can I say: he really has a bathroom that is desperately trying to save every centimeter:

Then remains the realization that it won’t work like that.

Nana, it's not impossible.
A iBox has a minimum installation depth of 8cm.
With some drywall, preferably on both sides, something can be done.
