Hello,

the plumber installed the wall-hung toilet crookedly. When standing in front of the toilet, it is noticeably higher on the left side than on the right side.

We will of course make a complaint. But my question is: Can this be fixed at all without major effort? In other words, without chipping away tiles, etc.? Because as far as I know, these toilets are mounted on two threaded rods. So the rods must not be level. And to reposition them, you would have to open up the whole wall again, right?

Actually, you can't really go wrong there... do you have a picture?

I don't have one on hand right now, unfortunately. But the fact is: the toilet is hanging crooked.

The holes in the toilets, through which the threaded rods pass, are significantly larger than the rods themselves. So there is still quite a bit of play.

That's why I was asking for a picture... it's probably just screwed in crookedly.

Morning

that's how it is,
loosen the fastenings by 1 - 2 threads - align the WC and then tighten again.
takes about 3 minutes
