Good evening, I am the new one here and have the following question (for you):

Can Vika cases also be placed under a glass plate? The frame itself seems very stable to me. Although the Ikea buying guide states that it is not possible, what speaks against it? I will soon have a 10mm thick 135x70cm glass plate made and am still looking for the optimal legs for it.

However, I have no idea how wide the cases actually are.

Optimal would be Furusund or Alex (the narrower variants), but then there wouldn't really be much space left between the legs.

Maybe one of you knows advice or can give me tips in another way.

Thanks in advance,

Bruenor

Hello,

how do you want to attach the legs to the table? If I read that correctly, those are only the foldable legs "without" a top. So, if you tell me a way to attach the glass top to the legs...

Oh, those are folding legs? I thought it was a normal table frame on which I could simply place the top. Well, then my question would have been pointless anyway. That wasn’t really clear from the catalog... Well, then the search goes on ;-(

Pretty embarrassing ;-)

But I was only able to download this "Kaufhilfe" as a PDF from the internet. It contains great drawings (of course small), which I absolutely could not assign to a folding frame...
Of course, I will not glue the glass plate to it. So I guess that's off the table for now....

Thanks anyway,

Bruenor
