Good morning first of all. I have the following problem. Last year in September I bought a single-family house built in '63 about 110m². Since everything had to go quite quickly with moving in, I thought it would be enough if we tore out the old tiles and the old carpet in the living room, kitchen, and dining area (I combined them into one big room) and then immediately tiled nice tiles on top. Well now I have the problem, the floor is so cold, it really cools down the room. When you sit on the sofa you really notice how cold it is at your feet even when the stove is on. What can be done? Is the only option to break out the entire floor and then insulate and then screed everything new? Or is there a possibility maybe just to break out the tiles and insulate on the existing screed? I now have a ceiling height of about 235cm. I would appreciate an answer. Go for it
