Ventilated facade and Styrofoam, insulation protective layer facade

Regarding the construction of the above-mentioned situation .. does the Styrofoam still need an additional moisture barrier layer, or can it be glued directly onto the facade...

or can it be stuck naked on the facade..

Because of the increased risk of injury, I would rather put on pants :D.
