Vapor barrier foil between visible rafters, how to install?

The roof has now been redone.
I have been thinking all the time about how to install the vapor barrier sensibly.
The rafters must absolutely remain visible, I know it’s a lot of work.
I have attached 3 photos, in the last photo there is a sketch with 2 of my proposals in red or yellow. The green marks are the adhesive points.

What do you think?

That should have been done beforehand, I can't imagine getting that fiddling sealed properly.

With "a lot" of slide adhesive and conscientious execution, it will work. Or what basically stands against it?

Your cutting sketch is fine, but the question is how you want to access it. I see problems more at the top and bottom. You will probably also get a condensation problem at the joint. I would simply close it or for the appearance, screw another rafter on.
