Hi,
I am currently researching how to heat our future single-family house. Recently, I came across the term "solar house" and wanted to learn more about it...
There are apparently 2 alternatives for me that seem sensible to store solar heat effectively:
1. the so-called E-Tank - The heat is stored directly in the ground beneath the single-family house; here I am not sure if this makes sense, or in case of a leak (water hoses are used as in underfloor heating) I have no possibility to repair anything because it is located directly under the house’s concrete slab.
2. a storage tank - Keeps the heat at temperature over several weeks/months in a tank (thermos flask principle)
Maybe someone has experience or has already informed themselves about this topic.
I see the future in this technology... storing heat in the summer and retrieving it again in winter.
so long...
